Have a question about gear specifications, published standards, or how to maintain a piece of equipment? Email [email protected].
The messages most useful to us include corrections to something we wrote, pointers to published standards or manufacturer documentation we should cite, and specific questions about tents, sleeping pads, water filters, and related gear. If your question concerns a product you already own, include the make, model, and year if you know them.
We read every message and reply to substantive questions when we can, usually within a few business days. We do not provide individualized gear recommendations or safety advice for specific trips.
